To give your child’s teeth further protection, we can apply a fissure sealant as they emerge, usually at the age of six or seven. A clear plastic coating covers the narrow grooves on the chewing surfaces of the back teeth, helping to strengthen enamel. This can be extremely beneficial as a long-term preventive technique, and will help prevent tooth decay.
